An Introduction to Autism Spectrum Disorder

October 18 @ 6:30 pm - 8:30 pm

Free

Recently, FD Campbell Memorial Library received a grant from the American Library Association’s Libraries Transforming Communities Initiative.  The library recognized a need for a unique portion of our community members. With this grant we have partnered with Sense of Connection and other members of the community impacted by Autism Spectrum Disorder to help make the library more accessible and help guide individuals impacted by ASD to more resources.

We invite anyone interested in educating themselves or wanting to connect to others affected by ASD to our two-part presentation from Dr. Jessica Paton, President and founder of Sense of Connection. An Introduction to Autism Spectrum Disorder and available resources will be held on Wednesday, October 18 at 6:30 PM.

Part II: Let’s Talk About Accessibility in the Community will be hosted on Wednesday, November 1 at 6:30 PM. Plan to join us for an engaging conversation on how the library can help be more inclusive to those impacted by Autism Spectrum Disorder.
