Our library catalog contains thousands of volumes of print material including new releases, audio books, and DVDs, We also share eResources with the Lawrence County Federated Library System.

Located just one mile from downtown Bessemer, the F.D. Campbell Memorial Library is open and waiting to serve you. The library is free to all residents of Lawrence County, Pennsylvania. In order to do so,
We are glad to accept book donations in good condition (hard cover preferred) for consideration to our collections. Materials donated are subject to our Collection Policy unless specified for our annual book sale. NO MAGAZINES, TEXT BOOKS, OR ENCYCLOPEDIAS WILL BE ACCEPTED. All donations must be delivered during regular open business hours. No materials should be left in the library’s drop box.
Would you like to join us for a special event or on a regular basis in our library? Do you have a special skill or knowledge base (birding, gardening, cooking, etc.) that you would like to share with the community in a scheduled presentation? Would you be willing to work on projects such as building and grounds maintenance? Our Friends of the Library group would love to talk with you!
Board of Trustees
The F.D. Campbell Memorial Library is looking for interested parties who would love to join our Board of Trustees. Interested parties should attend one of our monthly meetings and converse with other members to the responsibilites of our Trustees. This rewarding group helps keep the library at the hub of our Mohawk Community. If you have ideas that you believe will better our organization, we cordially invite you to attend.
